Cages

This type of houses has several versions:

Laying battery cage, a type produced by Nili Metal Works. These battery cages are designed for familial farms and to developed countries.

The battery cages are being supplied two-decked, when in each deck two batteries are situated back to back. The construction is shaped as an “A” pyramid, and it can be supplied as hanged from the ceiling, or as standing upon constructed legs.

The battery cages include: Cup or Nipple Drinkers; Manual or Automatic Feeders (Chain or Auger); And Manual or Automatic Egg Collection System. Scraper system is another option to be used for manure removal.

Laying battery cage, in different configuration: While the two lower batteries are accumulating the manure, the upper two are used for the cages. Using this configuration, we are able to evacuate the manure once a year or more.

In this type of battery cages, we are installing the equipment as standing upon constructed legs.

The battery cages include: Cup or Nipple Drinkers; Manual or Automatic Feeders (Chain or Auger); And Manual or Automatic Egg Collection System.

In both types of battery cages, we supply curtain system, in order to prevent weather-related damage, and cooling and ventilation systems designed to suit the local area needs.

There are three concepts of cooling and ventilation systems in houses using the Nili Metal Works self-made battery cages:

Most simple system is combining sprinkle system and hanged fans, used mainly at familial farms or small sized houses.

Cooling pads and fans, used as part of the Tunnel Ventilation System.

High-pressured cooling fog combined with exhausted fans.

Poultry house for large quantity of layers

This type of house will eventually include 4-8 tiers of battery cages. Cages will be mounted on top of each other as shaped of a tower.

For this type of house, we are building the house itself higher than usual, paving the floor with concrete.

The systems including within this type of house:

Nipple Drinkers;

Manual or Automatic Feeders (Chain, Auger or Trolley);

Manure removal is being either made by scrapers alone or combined with cleaning belts. Manure arrives via an installed conveyor to evacuation outside;

Eggs are being collected by either a collector table at each row ends, or by an Egg Collection System, which collects the eggs from the layers directly into Egg Grading machine or a Packing Machine.

Egg grading and packing systems

In order to meet our clients’ different requirements Nili Metal Works is representing and supplying the equipment from first grade producers, in USA, the Netherlands, Germany and Italy. In between our top suppliers, there is Staalkat Holland, a leading company at egg packing and grading machines. Those machines are supplied according to farm size and request, and will be constructed with a combined ventilation and cooling systems in order to insure the right and healthy conditions for the layers.
